Well, the cold kind. There’s plenty of the other kind there.

I suppose this a sign of God’s wrath against the godless South just as some FReepers are saying about the fires in California. If we’re going to apply a broad brush, we should apply it evenly.

More snow man made climate catastrophe
Less snow man made climate catastrophe
More fires man made climate catastrophe
Less fires man made climate catastrophe
Less rain man made climate catastrophe
More rain man made climate catastrophe
Warmer temps man made climate catastrophe
Colder temps man made climate catastrophe

So simple and in refutable 😎🦆

This “named” storm fizzled in Central Texas yesterday. Whizzed right on through.

They’ve been hyping this for over a week now... So, my prediction is MAYBE half of what they are forecasting. I’d even put a hard $20 on a 1/4...

12” of snow? Well depending on where in the south, this will effectively shut places down for a month. I remember the rare occassions we would get 4-6 inches growing up in NC... town would literally be shut down for days.

Towns would have to share road equipment to clear the snow, because none of them had snow removal equipment, so front loaders, and road graders and other things would be used, and they would do one town, then move on to the next would shut your town down for potentially a week or more depending on when they go to your town.

No salt, or anyway to melt it, so if it snowed even modestly and the weather stayed cold, the whole town just effectively stopped until the equipment got to town.
