LAFD Assistant Chief Kristine Larson: “Am I able to carry your husband out of a fire? He got himself in the wrong place.”

She couldn’t carry her equipment, much less a man on her back.
I was reading that a firefighter, if fully geared, will carry upwards of 150lbs on his body if he has to go into the fire itself. That means he might have to carry upwards of 350lbs on his body if he has to carry somebody out.
In other words “No”
So, can we assume that she was not required to drag the heavy rescue dummies in fire academy? Or drag the heavy hoses? Or start the chain saw?
DEI stands for I’ll Be At Waffle House; You’re On Your Own.
Ha! I see what you did there!
Arrogant bitch.
She confesses her indifference and contempt for her citizens with her own mouth.
This woman’s concern about skin colour, in the midst of a fire, suggests that she would abandon people in the fire because of their skin colour.
No, but if your carpet catches fire she can munch it out.
The video evidence indicates that Kristine has used up the weight quota already.
What happened to weight/fitness standards?
I see that picture and all I can think of is “Confusion in a fish market.”
My sister’s husband and sons were all firefighters. The first female firefighter hired in the county got herself run over by a fire truck before she responded to the first fire!
"You want to see somebody that responds to your house, your emergency,... that looks like you."
If your house is on fire, you don't care what the firefighter looks like.
But, you might want to see somebody who can carry you out of the house.
"It gives that person a little bit more ease, knowing that somebody might understand their situation better."
All you want is somebody who understands fire and how to get you out of it.
They couldn’t have been real firemen. Women are totally useless as firemen.
“You want to see somebody that responds to your house, your emergency,... that looks like you.”
If I see somebody that looks like me trying to rescue me.....I’m going to die. :-(
Love,
O2
I’m not sure anyone could carry me out of a fire without help. I can safely say the same thing about her.
That’s hilarious.
Fire fighters will risk a lot to save people saveable, but we are not going to sacrifice life for life.
We will risk a fair amount to save property that is saveable.
We are not going to risk life for life and property already lost.
Just wow. So....it’s the victim’s fault??
Yes, of course, when my house is on fire and in a panic I broke my leg and can’t get up I want the firewoman to look like me. Gonna need to be a tall bearded tranny, but anyway, we will also need to sit down and have a deep discussion on politics, religion, social philosophy and sports before they assist me or fight the fire.
