Her sexual orientation is all that matters. That is because she is a member of a protected class. We are forbidden to criticize her for that reason.

And that is how incompetent people wind up in charge of public safety positions.

Too many of us have tolerated this because we do not want to be called "bigots" or "racist" or "xxxx-phobic". We are seeing the results of that "tolerance" in Los Angeles right now.

People are just dying for diversity.

The doctor was Bobby Troup - his real-life wife played the nurse

Bobby Troup also wrote “Route 66” - I saw Ozark Mountain Daredevils a couple of years ago (didn’t actually plan to go but received tickets) and near the end of the show they played “Route 66” - absolutely nailed that song

Saw them last year - they did NOT play the song. Sadly.

Even their cruise ship version doesn’t even come close to their performance that night. Absolutely fantastic. First time I ever liked that song.
