Gangsters that Biden brought in?
This has an eerie resemblance to Flannery O’Connor’s short story ‘A Good Man is Hard to Find’.
Meth lab?
Some people need to die early.
She urged her spouse to let someone else help out but Clifford refused, telling her, ”
‘No nobody is coming to help them, I need to help them’ ”
Said the dead man.
A comment that would make a Calif liberal lose bladder control
"Joel Adkins walks around his neighborhood with a gun holstered to his hip, always ready for the worst. “I’m always ready," he said."
His good nature cost him his life. Very sad. Can’t afford to be like that in this time. I wish he would have listened to his spouse.
Its ok not to help strangers that are this level intrusive asking for assistance. You are not AAA. You are not roadside assistance. You are not the police. Nor emergency services.
If you are moved to do anything, what you can do is call the police about a person needing assistance somewhere. Most oc us have obligations and other people we actually care about, who depend on us every day in many dofferent ways. Your duty is not to strangers. If you feel you have any sense of duty, it ouvht to be to your friends and family.
It was a stupid move. One that he didn’t consider he’d leave his family and friends without him. Call the police if you want to do something to help, and go back to your family. Thats where any sense of duty lies. Both men and women. Especially men though, women aren’t conditioned all their dam lives to help others, but everyone asks a guy for help and has no problem doing so, with many demanding/expecting him to help simply because hes a guy. Don’t fall for that like this guy did amd let nefarious types take advantage of you.
Pure evil. They played on his kindness to draw him out so they could kill him and steal the truck.
Just why?
He made it into Heaven misses! No more suffering growing old with you. Yea, sucks you have to do so alone, but be so very happy for him, he did good!
That would be it for me.
This is no longer 1960s America and those who don’t adapt often pay the price.
My simple rules: No answer to unexpected door knocks, no answer to unexpected phone calls.
With AAA, vehicle warrantee road side services, cell phones, etc., responsible people rarely need help. These types of savages are far too common to risk stopping for someone.
Oldest scam in the book. Best thing to do is offer to call the police
