This one may be a doozy for some in the red zone. Be prepared. (That's my motto).

Meanwhile, the Chiefs are sitting in their jet in KC, can’t take off to fly to Denver due to weather.

I doubt Texas power supplies will be up to handle this storm.
ERCOT has been notoriously unreliable.

I miss the days before Climate Change when these kinds of storms never happened.
/s (of course)
Side note: I’m not too far from that red band. So I went out earlier and filled up my car with a full tank of gas. And there is plenty of food in the pantry. As you noted, be prepared.

One to eight inches. We’re all doomed.

Yes. Every day, the sky looked like the intro to
Teletubbies.
But then came Trump, and with him, misery.

Ugh, had to turn it off as that weather lady sounds too much like AOC for us upper Midwest types. That entire mess is going beneath us but we’re gonna get the frigid cold for a month at least.

In Overland Park, near the old Sprint HQ. Everything outside is covered in a sheet of ice. The sheet started to form at 2 PM. The TV says blizzard warning, 3 AM Sunday to 3 AM Monday.

There's even concern about tornadoes associated with those thunderstorms.

So let me get this straight.
It's January, there's a storm, and it will cause ice and snow?
Hoping folks prepare well, of course, that is critical.
It's winter.
