I couldn't have said it better.
Let's remember that the Republican Party had its largest House majority of my lifetime after the 2014 election. The party seriously damaged its chances of ever having that advantage again for years with its 2017 tax reform bill that capped state and local tax deductions. By doing that, the GOP effectively surrendered its dominant position in many of this nation's wealthiest suburbs in "blue" states like New York, New Jersey, California, etc.
Lol
That so stupid it hurts. Surrendered their advantage in districts they lost for the last 30-40 years? Those districts turned blue long before 2018
It had nothing to do with your personal little scam being taken away from you
Voters fired the GOP because they did nothing but the taxcuts, they did not do anything to undo Obama care and they allowed the “russia russia russia” scam to go unchecked.
They can fix that THIS time if they actively get busy significantly cube inflation driven by bad Federal spending and energy policy as well as the endless spending on Biden’s wars in the next year. They have to get it done now, not delay delay delay again
If they repeat the same do nothingism of the 2017/18 Romney/Ryan’s Congress they will be fired in by the same voters who voted them in in 11-05-24
They blew the 1995 majority in 30 years. Newt actually started sqishing.
Now the districts are so hard to flip.
Paul Ryan screwd the party in 2018. They literally quit.
The old RINO party is dead...or should be.
More insulation for the agenda!
The narrowly divided House has adopted a rules package, with a vote of 215-209, that most notably will see a significantly raised threshold for members to trigger an effort to oust the speaker.
