Interesting as the deceased was working on “drones” as his new assignment. He’d won two Bronze Stars and was stationed at one point in Ukraine - per previous media stories.

I’ve listened to the episode twice and it’s clear from the response in the Special Forces community that Livelsberger was (is?) a “soldier’s soldier” and an accomplished operator fully capable of assembling and deploying a devastating vehicle borne explosive device (VBED). Multiple people in the community who served w/him indicated he had no signs of mental illness/suicidal tendencies; including his former team commander (currently active duty O-5) . So what was this incident in Las Vegas all about.
Key issue: According to Ryan’s podcast the PAO from DA who contacted him about this case told Ryan’s staffer that Livelsberger’s DNA does NOT match his son’s. So, is this a story planted by DA to explain why the DNA from the body in the Tesla truck doesn’t match the son (son is illegitimate) OR...was this a diversion and is Livelsberger still alive and the badly burned body found in the Tesla was someone else???
