Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) affirmed his decision to not support Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) in the Speaker’s race, even if his colleague Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) would land a top spot on the House Rules Committee.
Massie was asked by former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), a new host on One America News Network, if he would vote for Johnson if Roy would become the chair of the influential panel.
“Oh no. You can pull all my fingernails out, you can shove bamboo up in them, you can start cutting off my fingers,” Massie responded late Thursday.
“I am not voting for Mike Johnson tomorrow, and you can take that to the bank,” he told his former colleague.

Massie hates Trump, probably, because trump is Pro Israel.
What if it’s just pull your finger nails out and cut off your tally-wacker Mike?
No conservative would support Johnson .
Only faux ones !
Sure, Okey Dokey then.
I hope they start pulling them out soon.
Richly deserved. If I were Speaker, I'd make an example of him. Ditto for Norman and Self.
Oh. I wasn’t aware that Massie is an antisemite. That’s disturbing.
I wouldn’t vote for Johnson either. What has he actually done to receive the Speakership again?
Fact is there are a fair number of people who generally align more with one party or another, but not 100% of the time. And there are a lot more of those people in swing districts that would never elect an actual conservative.
So do we hand all those seats to people who vote Democrat 75% of the time, or do we keep them Republican with people who vote GOP 75% of the time?
To me, the latter makes a lot more sense than the former.

True. It sucks, but it is the reality we’re faced with. All we can do is voice our opinions more strenuously and push for the needed “reforms and changes” within the party. We may actually have a chance for that now. Hope springs...
before it trips, stumbles, falls and breaks its’ stupid neck (ooops).
Massie is looking for his 15 minutes of fame. Contrast Massie to a guy like Hegseth and the real leader is apparent right away. It is heartening that Pete will be SecDef but distressing our one vote majority in the house relies on guys like Massie. Shame to the voters in house districts carried by Trump but which sent liberal congress members to Washington. Just a shame.
It is tough to figure what his plan is right now. I can tell you that his plan in 1988 was to walk by the Army and Air Force ROTC offices for four years without ever signing up. That much I can tell you for sure: ‘a little too good to serve’.

He sure is famous now! Saw on Newsmax where he just vowed that they would fart hard! I’m reminded of BJ Clinton’s BS about how they’d worked harder than they had ever worked... (in the process of screwing the American taxpayers)...blah blah blah.
Blowhards farting even harder, IOW. Congress should probably issue free gas masks at the door from now on and send the bill to Hakeem. JS...
Truth is, he is a Paul Ryan back stabber.
