I bypassed the grocery store today - my regular shopping day - and went to Walgreens for TUMS and came out with TUMS and bags of chocolates on sale!!! Had plenty of everything else I need in the house already. I take the car out once a week to keep the battery charged...
Down in northern Virginia, they rate snow storms by rolls of toilet paper.
I opened a can of brand name soup I had bought "just in case". 70% water.
My local grocery store was out of milk several days before Christmas, and the next time I checked again, it was a few days after Christmas. Still no milk. I have a pint or two in my freezer as backup, and it looks like I’m gonna have to thaw those out, and use sparingly. I’ll need to replenish asap.
Milk sandwiches are my favorite.
