Tories are leaving their party and joining Nigel Farage's Reform by 6,000 a day

Kemi Badenoch has been accused by Reform UK of peddling "delusional conspiracy theories" as party insiders claimed membership was growing at a rate of 6,000 a day following her intervention last week.

Tory leader Ms Badenoch launched her scathing attack after the launch of Reform's membership counter, and specifically over claims that the party led by Nigel Farage had overtaken.

The MP for North West Essex claimed the counter had been "coded to tick up automatically", adding:"Farage doesn't understand the digital age.

"This kind of fakery gets found out pretty quickly, although not before many are fooled."

In response, Clacton MP Mr Farage threatened legal action, adding: "Many of my friends who are still in the Conservative Party are deeply embarrassed by her behaviour."

And a Reform spokesman offered a withering rejoinder, telling The Times: "Kemi Badenoch's delusional conspiracy theories have only succeeded in persuading Conservative activists to leave and join Reform.

"So she may be terrible for the Tory party but she's great news for Reform.

"The Tory brand is dying under her."

Reform sources suggested the party is currently gaining 6,000 new recruits each day.

Any GOP activists here on FR ?

You will know how important this is. These are the people who do the heavy lifting like knocking on doors or handing out leaflets, etc.

This will be a big blow to the Tories to lose their activists and it might seem like a small number but it can have a huge impact in political circles.

My guess is that Farage will become Prime Minister in the next election.

NEVER EVER TRUST A TRAITOR!

Something that Trump and real conservatives should keep in mind with all these arch liberals suddenly switching sides since the election.

“Are Tories an equivalent to conservatives here and labor liberals?”

More like Tories there are equivalent to Joe Manchin wing of the Democrat Party, while Labor is the Chuck Schumer wing of the Democrat Party - on the big issues, they’re both identical (repopulation, climate change, ending Christianity, ending Free Speech, and starting WW3 against Russia).

Reform is equivalent to the base of the Republican Party, meaning MAGA.

There really isn’t a RINO party in UK, as whoever might have been a RINO ended up joining the Leftists and their agreeing with their priorities (in the US, the RINOs are still clearly to the right of the entire Democrat Party - but in the UK the Tories have nothing to distinguish themselves from Labor).

Close, but I would go a step further and say that Tories are more like the Liz Cheney wing of the GOP . . . and are roughly on the same trajectory.

Sometimes parties have to implode to get rid of the deadwood. We talk about RINO’s, but they are mostly in control & it’s hard to get what we want done past them. The Libertarian Party isn’t an option. The Constitution Party might be. If Trump doesn’t succeed because of our problem people, the Republican Party might implode, too. And deservedly so.

Any Democrats leaving their party and joining the Republicans must be vetted carefully. It is more likely they are infiltrating than joining. Can’t trust ‘em!

The UK is so steeped with wokeism and socialism that the country will never recover short of a civil war. All the parties there are statist/Marxist to one degree or another.
