Is this Laura “I’m not sure of I’ll vote for Trump” Ingraham?
No thanks.
Only the faithful can tell you the news? I don’t GAGS about her MAGA credentials. It’s a funny story.
Chuck Lorre is a dyed in the wool never-Trump Hollyweirdo. But I love BBT, Young Sheldon, George and Mandy’s First Marriage, and quite a bit of the Roseanne Show. Why? Because he tells funny stories. And that’s beyond politics. So’s this.
I found big bang theory to be snobbish and insulting.
What I find interesting about this is that when you talk to rank and file decent Canadians, it turns out that they didn’t buy into the LSM narrative about PDJT any more than their American cousins south of the border.
However, I do wonder one thing.... Is the sentiment about ‘joining the US’ (in some way, shape or form) simply a reflection of how much they despise Trudeau.... and a ‘51st state status’ is a much better alternative than what they have now? If they get themselves a real leader they could respect, how much would that change things? It will be extremely interesting to watch this going into and following their next election when Pierre Poilievre (hopefully) becomes their PM.
I thought the characters in BBT were interesting, but the humor was crass and coarse. Saw a few episodes because I used to be a fan girl and was intrigued, but clicked off pretty early on.
If they would join the US, they would have to do so in the form of the Provinces into which they are presently subdivided. So it would be a great many more states.
These overeducated egg-heads, especially the super genius Sheldon, are socially retarded. At the start, the Indian astro-physicist is incapable of talking to girls at all, unless he’s loaded. All of them understand nothing about life, but are brilliant in their respective fields. Along comes Penny, the uneducated farmer’s daughter who wants to become an actress, and slowly teaches the egg-heads common sense and emotional intelligence, of which they are totally lacking. It’s hilarious. You don’t like it? OK. But my point is, funny stories trump politics, which ironically is how Trump has been winning over people for nearly a decade now. Robin Williams and Groucho Marx were left of center, but comic geniuses. So is Chuck Lorre, though he never appears personally. He writes the scripts.
