I will never understand Rick Astley's popularity, I'll stay with "Auld Lang Syne" for New Years Eve.

Have fun and flame away and I wish everybody a Happy New Year.

What’s iconic about Camden? The battleship USS New Jersey, maybe. But I never heard of the Roundhouse.

It can’t be any worse than “New Years Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”.

Because that great big masculine voice was coming out of a nerdy looking dweeb in 1987. He was adorable.

Apparently, he is also a nice humble family guy.

This is my all-time favorite New Year’s show, and I still watch it nearly every year:

Big Country - Edinburgh Playhouse - NYE ‘84/’85 (HQ)

All great musicians, who also was an amazing songwriter.

One Size Fits All by Frank Zappa.

It’s just better this way.

"Never Gonna Give You Up" — Rick Astley.

Otherwise known as “Ballad of a Stalker”.

Myself, I'm going to polish up my dance shoes, and bring out my LPs with Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians,

We are really going to get our freak on.

I was always partial to:

I Would Take A Strong Strong Man"
ahhhh...the 80's (of what i remember about it...it's a mystery decade for me) Big frizzy hair, hoop earrings, CFM 5 inch heel, short skirts, short dresses with spaghetti straps...

what's not to like ?
