People will have panic attacks over things that will turn out to be nothing.

People will laugh off things that will turn out to be major disasters.

The deer will eat my kale plants down to the nubs no matter what I do.

The cubs will continue to surprise us with their wit, charm and heart but we will have at least one major "Just when did this seem to be a GOOD idea?" conversation. Actually probably more then one. A lot more.

I dont have quite such bad problems with the kale.

Its the beets. The woodchucks eat the north shoulder of of every beet. The north quarter of every one is nibbled off and then they move to the next one. Who the hell wants a 7/8ths beet with tooth marks?

For the longest time I couldnt figure out how a woodchuck would know which shoulder is on the north. One day I realized the garden is north of the house and that maybe the woodchucks could see me and the dogs coming better if they faced south and ate while looking at the house.

I think whistle pig is back on the menu in 2025.

If you plant brussels sprouts, they’ll probably leave the kale alone. Unless your deer are all freaks and have developed an unnatural taste for kale. Oh, sorry.
