s this Georgia, or Jersey?
A family of angry masons wielding baseball bats, sticks and a a lever-action rifle allegedly launched a Sopranos-style assault on a rival paving company outside Macon, Georgia when they saw the compeitor doing a job near one of their homes.
Cops collared six members of the Buckland family Dec. 19 after the bloody, broad-daylight beatdown on guys from rival EH Paving at a Monroe County job site, according to WMAZ.
“Like something out of ‘The Sopranos,’” Monroe County Sheriff Brad Freeman told the outlet.
The Buckland boys thought EH Paving was being “disrespectful” by working so close to one of the Bucklands’ houses — and they let them know in a way that would make Paulie Walnuts proud.
The Bucklands were hit with multiple criminal charges. WMAZ An argument erupted when the Bucklands confronted the EH employees, who are out of southeast Georgia, the property owner told cops.
That’s when family patriarch Mark Buckland Sr., 77, pulled a “long cowboy-style gun” and fired two rounds into the woods to intimidate the other pavers, the outlet said.
His 58-year-old son, Mark Buckland Jr., allegedly sparked a full-on brawl moments later that left the EH Paving workers bruised and banged-up.

When I was living in GA a few decades ago, inmate labor was used in my area to pave the lot & driveway for the fire department. They also re-roofed the jail. I sense a connection here...
If the Sopranos analogy were to work one of the Paving Co.s would be legit and their antagonists would be outright thugs
like Paulie Walnuts ready to shut them down and yanking them down into hot asphalt bc they didn’t or wouldn’t make payments or are working in an area where the approved Mafia landscapers/pavers,etc. work and effectively “owned”-— the approved ones already making kickback payments. So here they might both be “semi”- legit and deserve each other.
Sounds like Travelers…. Gypsy’s….
The “Company” did it???
Not the owners / managers / employees, or combinations thereof as individual humans?
That’s Traveler’s speciality.

I would see inmates picking up trash by the side of the road in that state. One day, the woman I was riding with threw a snack or candy wrapper out the window. She told me —
“Don’t worry about my littering. The inmates love getting out of county jail to get some fresh air and sun”
“This wouldn’t happen in New Jersey … because the paving bids there are all rigged.”
Back in the day I was told by businessman-X in NY & NJ, that his commercial garbage pick up was rigged. The Mafia trash haulers divided up trash hauling into their exclusive territories. Meaning that businessman-X could hire only one company to haul his trash away. This is one way to price rig.
Many paving company own by Armenians?.
At that same time, I would go into Alabama to run some jobs. Seen their inmates running swing blades in the freeway medians.
