Jan 9 should be a day of remembrance (not mourning) for Jimmy Carter.

He had a good, very long life with many achievements, even though he was not the most successful President. And his remembrance should be a Christian one, since he was a Christian all his life.

The Bible tells us that we mere humans are entitled to ‘Threescore and ten’ (70) years. Anything above that is God’s grace and gift to you......................

Thanks to Jimmy Carter, we are suffering through Iran’s war against the West, including Israel. Carter betrayed the Shah of Iran and gave the government over to an Islamic fanatic who had been exiled to France. Then Carter did nothing and we got a bunch of hostages held until Iran saw President Reagan about to become President. Even Carter’s attempt to rescue the hostages failed and resulted in US troops killed. Up until Obama, he was considered to be the worst President in US history, that is until Obama took his place and then Biden took Obama’s place. That being said, may Jimmy Carter rest in peace.

We’re not a country of kings and commoners.

No special day for Jimmy.
