Methane freezes at -296Β°F, so these are methane bubbles with frozen water surrounding them. Pretty cool to see.

The photographer has some really impressive photos on Flickr. Iβm sure she does some manipulation to her work, but I love her vision. Sheβs quite an artist.

**Interesting fact; Lake Baikal is the home to the the only freshwater seals in the world.
