Falsely filing a police report is a crime, so yeah, bring on the punishment.

If proven in court, with direct associated harm, I’d say yes.

But just a she said-she said as in your example? No way.

[She should get whatever 3X punishment he was going to.]

Same for anyone who knowingly falsely accuses another of a major crime.

She should get the same penalty that the falsely accused man would have gotten, plus loss of job and reputation.

Of course, a woman who does this should pay serious penalties.

Where do the wrongly accused go to get their reputations and careers back?

That bitch who wrongly accused the lacrosse team of rape deserves prison. Oh wait... She’s already IN prison. For MURDER.

Had a local girl in the pickup bed with two out of town fishermen. The truck was under a Mulberry tree, and so her back was fully stained, which she didn’t know. But her boyfriend noticed. She cried rape. The local constable asked around at the campgrounds if two men from Ohio were fishing here. Yep, two good looking young guys. Darn right, they said, they screwed her. She admitted her lie, was arrested and went to jail.

Through much of the Middle east three thousand years ago if one accused another of a crime and was judged to have been lying the accuser then faced the same punishment that would have been meted out to the accused.

Yes, it is. “Innocent” is not an option for the jury; nor is it a logical option.

My brother in law was on a jury where they found a man guilty on most charges. For the charges where he was found not guilty, it was not because the jury thought he was innocent; far from it. They thought he did it. But the prosecution did not prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

I recommend reading what the founders said about this when it was established.

If a man is found not guilty and the woman is suspected of bringing false charges she can be charged with perjury or charged based on a new law, if placed into effect. She will also be found guilty or not guilty.

YES!

The consequences for a man in today’s world to be falsely accused of rape or catastrophic. The worse that can happen is he could be sent to prison for a crime he did not commit but even if he could defend himself and found not guilty his life could be ruined.

Making a false accusation of rape against someone in court could lead to a variety of criminal charges (depending on the jurisdiction), including:

  1. Perjury

If the false accusation is made under oath during court proceedings, it constitutes perjury.

  2. False Reporting

Filing a false police report accusing someone of a crime, such as rape, is generally charged as false reporting or filing a false complaint.

  3. Defamation (Civil Case)

While not a criminal offense, falsely accusing someone of rape can lead to a civil lawsuit for defamation. In the case of Trump's accuser, malicious intent or actual malice can probably be established to get around the public figure issue.

  4. Obstruction of Justice

In the case of E. Jean Carroll, she knowingly and willfully misled the courts with the intent to disrupt the legal process. She wasted prosecution and judicial resources. She also harmed the accused (disrupted his life and his legal rights, which the justice system is meant to protect).

  5. Malicious Prosecution

If the accuser knowingly initiates a false legal claim or prosecution, they could be charged with malicious prosecution, which is pursuing a baseless legal action with malicious intent. As an aside, even a prosecutor (a DA) might be drawn into such a crime if it could be established that such a prosecutor demonstrated bias or prejudgment of guilt (hat-tip to Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, Jack Smith, and Fani Willis).

  6. Contempt of Court

If the false accusation is made in court and demonstrates contempt for the judicial process, it may also lead to a charge of contempt of court.

Penalties

The penalties for these offenses vary by jurisdiction but can include fines, imprisonment, or both. In addition, the accused individual may seek restitution for damages caused by the false allegations.

What’s fair is fair. What’s good for the goose & vice versa. A man accused of rape is done for. He might as well move, change his name and try to start a new life. A woman can easily destroy a man’s life. For falsely accusing someone she should certainly get jail time.

Some women who take Ambian are like nymphomaniacs during the night, but remember nothing in the morning.

They initiate sex and are totally wild during the night and it’s a different personality than during the day.

They can get out of bed, walk around and hold conversations, it’s like they are in a trance.

I had a woman tell me that the strangest thing happened in that the shoes she had been wearing ended up at her mother’s house.

I asked her if she was on Ambian, and she confirmed yes.

She was sleep driving in the middle of the night and didn’t remember any of it.

I’ve personally known of three similar cases with Ambian. In all three I personally spoke with the women after the events.

The one woman woke up during sex and thought she was being raped.

It’s a dangerous world out there.
