Dayle Haddon, the Canadian supermodel who rose to fame for her work representing various cosmetic and magazine companies, died Friday from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. She was 76.

Haddon was found dead in a second-floor bedroom of a detached in-law suite at a home on the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road in Solebury Township, Pa.

The million-dollar home is owned by Haddon’s journalist daughter Ryan Haddon and son-in-law Hallmark actor Marc Blucas, according to 6ABC News.

First responders were called to the property just after 6:30 a.m. Friday after receiving reports of a 76-year-old man lying unconscious on the first floor of the suite, the Solebury Township Police Department said.

The unidentified man was removed from the building and brought to a nearby hospital before rescuers learned that the woman, later identified as Haddon, was still inside.

The model was discovered inside and pronounced dead at the scene.

Blucas and Ryan Haddon purchased the “old farmhouse” in 2012 for $1 million, and completely restored the property that dated back to 1711, Blucas told Wide Open Country.

The New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company detected a “high level of carbon monoxide” on the property.

Two medics were hospitalized due to exposure to the poisonous gas and a police officer was treated at the scene for injuries with all three in stable condition, the police department said.

No one in the main home was injured, with police believing a heating unit malfunctioned causing the high levels of carbon monoxide, CBS reported.

Gas heaters can produce CO if they’re not working correctly. Best to not use one at all. Just get a wood stove.

Carbon monoxide poisoning kills dozens and even hundreds every year... The only thing you need to stop it... A simple Carbon monoxide detector. They had millions and saved themselves $25 at Amazon.

NOW they have to replace the heating system with units that use FLAMMABLE FLUIDS.

I’m surprised the NY Post didn’t use that picture, minus the date, in its story.

Decades ago, a woman and I woke up with really bad headaches after the first night that winter that was cold enough to kick the gas heater on. The repairman who looked at it said that the heater manifold was cracked and that we were lucky to wake up at all.

The Carbon Monoxide molecule is similar to O2 but a little smaller. Because of that Hemoglobin is 300 times more likely to carry the CO molecule. That is why it is so deadly.

Ouch. I'm not really a fan of gas-powered anything if it's indoors, but I know people that have gas stoves. Maybe I've heard too many stories of what can go wrong.

Not seeing anything ‘supermodel’ there other than her expression.

I thought she looked familiar. She played Nick Nolte’s girlfriend in my favorite football film, “North Dallas Forty”.

Years ago, we had our furnace tagged in the middle of a cold spell for carbon monoxide. Sucked because of timing but it probably saved our lives. If you don’t have a carbon monoxide detector get one. We had one and the HVAC tech said the reason it probably didn’t alert was because the system was still venting it out the roof.

We were lucky that we had a heat pump that kept the temp around 40 so we had a couple space heaters and had a wood fireplace. We were without heat for about a week.

We have one in our house and the RV at our rural compound. I thought everyone had them.
