Biden faces major court defeat after trying to sell border wall materials before Trump takes over

resident Biden has been forced to stop auctioning off materials used for the border wall after the Texas Attorney General stepped in to block the sales.

The unused material was put up for grabs by Congress who put a plan in place on how to dispose of the excess product after ending wall construction in 2021.

Attorney General Ken Paxton said on Friday that he had stopped the administration from getting rid of any more before president-elect Trump takes office in January.

The Biden administration agreed with the court order, according to Fox News, allowing President Trump to use the materials.

Last week, Trump asked a court in the red state to intervene in the sales, accusing Biden of selling off the materials after it was required to do so by Congress.

Paxton's office said that the incumbent administration could be held in contempt of court if they go against the order.

The Southern state has long said they would continue to help Trump rebuild the wall at the southern border when he enters office.

Speaking at a Mar-a-Lago press conference earlier this month, Trump had threatened legal action himself on the sale of the unused portions.

He told reporters: 'We're going to spend hundreds of millions of dollars more on building the same wall we already have. It's almost a criminal act.'

This is not “excess product,” nor is it “scrap.” Those ballards, when assembled together, are what make up the wall. I bet these same jerks would call shoelaces scrap.

Too late...
Most is probably gone by now...

If only the feckless GOP could muster the same devious political skills as the American Communist Party can...

The company which bought border wall materials from the Biden regime has now offered to return them. So it appears the Biden’s handler’s scheme didn’t work.

We aren’t depraved like the Dems. It’s hard for us to imagine all of the diabolical things they would consider.

May I assume a president cannot pardon himself? And that the statutes on bribery in public office are still in effect? And that the USSC decision exempting a president from prosecution for official actions doesn't apply to a crimes committed by a vice president?

It would be so delicious to see Joe doing a perp wander.

My mom worked for a maker of "stuff" for the US Navy. What they solicited from her she supplied, and they demanded it be marked with a shelf life expiration date. She told them it had none. It lasts forever. They refused her bids unless she put one on the "stuff".

A few years forward she noticed the "stuff" being sold at surplus auctions, so she bought it all. Every year. She would then re-test, re-package, and re-sell the exact same "stuff" with each new bid solicitation. Over 40 years she sold them their same "stuff" five or six times. She was quite up-front about it with the contracts officer. They didn't care as long as each new (old)batch had a new set of test data with new expiration date!

She discovered this is very common practice.

No sweat...

Since they have a big pile of the wall materials....

Give the the contract to install the wall.

Any bets the petty party do something to these materials before Trump assumes the office? I would expect them to be bent, cut, or otherwise destroyed. The children don’t like being told no.

The snippet on the FR page starts with “resident Biden.” I think it was a copying error but it does fit.

It seems to be consensus all about that a president can, indeed, pardon himself. And even if he does not he should not prosecuted for any crimes prior to his leaving office. Doing that would import a third world precedent of each party imprisoning the previous president when the presidency changes hands. Let the Democrats set that precedent then bury them with it on the next round. There are plenty of crimes by Hunter and other Bidens that go back to Biden's first accession to the Congress way before the 2014 to 2024 general pardon. Put everyone related to him that can be proven criminal into prison and leave him out of it. God will remove him from the scene soon enough. If he were to be charged and tried he would not physically live to hear a verdict. He is declining fast, now and would likely be ruled incompetent to stand trial, anyway. The real test of the pardoning power will come if the politburo decides to use Biden to pardon all the head Democrats for past and future crimes. It probably would not pass muster at the USSC but it might.

I’m sure there are many many other ridiculous bureaucratic practices but Elon and Vivek could start with tackling that one government wide.
