If Elon Musk is correct about the U.S. having a Labor Shortage, then how does he explain this? "Most studies indicate that 75-85% of adults with Asperger Syndrome do not hold a full-time job."

I have taken online tests for Asperger’s.

I was borderline which came as no surprise.

Weak willed people pleasing was never my thing.

As to social interactions, I would often tell friends and family, it’s not that I don’t have social skills but many times I choose not to apply them.

Lots of folks said the same thing when he shitcanned 75% of the Twitter staff. I think he thinks about every move he is going to make and always has a reason for doing whatever it is he does. Even smoking weed on a podcast. He is not afraid of backlash.

The formula I see a lot (and I work for a tech company). They work in teams and one white American guy per team. I just always assume he does the intellectual and creative heavy lifting.

"There is a house down the street from me where three brothers, their wives and kids and the parents all live under the same roof."

That is so interesting.

There are two similar houses in my town.

Very large house with what looks to be a six car garage.

A reasonably large yard with a bunch of kids toys.

I thought a cult might live there, but multiple families makes sense.

"Very weird argument. It seems more of an argument to work to bring Aspergers into the workforce."

There are a fair amount of potentially successfully young American tech workers right on the cusp of that Venn diagram. There are also those Asperger's who venture into the tech work world, give a company an ok 3-5 years as a (remote!) junior dev, and flake out right back into pure gig work. So many of those are lost to those gd games they play for days.

“it’s not that I don’t have social skills but many times I choose not to apply them.”

Agreed—I can appear very rude at times, but in every case it is absolutely planned and intentional.

I want toxic people to want to stay far away from me.

If I like somebody (or need something from them) I can be amazingly charming—again intentional.

Let’s attack Elon Musk, because just having the Left, the Democrats and their Gaslight Media attacking him isn’t enough.

They tried to attack him by calling him President Musk last week. That didn't work.

Now the Left is happy to continue to stir the pot by engaging in the H1B visa debate.

I'm happy to have Elon Musk on our side. Trump wouldn't have won the election if Musk didn't buy Twitter in the first place.

Who would want to hire someone with Asperger's? People should be able to hire those they want to hire and cause the least headaches with the highest output.

It nigh well time to reopen the asylums.

We have a shortage of skilled engineers willing to work for third world wages.
