The recent election is the product of a decades-long struggle in American politics that has intensified since 2016. The election produced a victory for the man who caused the intensification, Donald Trump. He caused it by convincing a people, jaded from broken promises, that he would “drain the swamp.”
He also convinced the people who inhabit the swamp, and they have scorched the earth to stop him. He has been canceled, derided, slandered, libeled, investigated, searched, impeached, arrested, prosecuted, tried, convicted, shot, and yet…reelected!
Now the battle will begin anew. What will it be like? There are so many problems. The border. Crime. Inflation. Education. War. Ukraine. China. Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran. Debt stacked to the far reaches of a SpaceX mission. Which matters most?

I don't enjoy all their articles, and I don't that much enjoy Larry Arnns' talks with Hugh Hewitt on Hugh's Friday show. But this is by far the best article I've ever read in Imprimis.

Excellent article, a bit verbose, and it ends with a whimper. Nevertheless, take his advice Trump.
Yeah. While perhaps less of an administrative cancerous growth than any number of other agencies, it is nevertheless the most feared one. I mean, the FBI coming down on you isn’t exactly Disneyland. I think attacking the DOJ would grab the most attention and the potential prosecution of same bears the greatest amount of evidence against it.
What are the next four years going to be like?
Four more years of the communists trying to stifle anything and everything which the new, Trump administartion tries to do. That’s what. Another four years of misery for all of us.

I’d like to see a list of Pork items. Who introduced them for what? Let the citizens see what BS is going on. We’ve all read about some of the insane studies like Shrimp on treadmills. Who approved them? How are they connected to the recipients of the Grants? Expose the people who spend our money like it is theirs and let the voters decide.
Expose any in government offices who reap benefits from stock tips.
If the people in charge do not know where the money goes replace them for someone who knows how to add and subtract.
Reading articles is anathema to 95% of Freepers.

Their articles are indeed excellent, it just so happens that for maybe the last 6 or 7 out of 10 articles, I really had no interest in the topic matter.
A comment on what I may or may not be interested in, not the quality of their work.
Oh I wasn't disagreeing. Sometimes the topics are complex and I know nothing of the topic so I don't get into all of them either.
