A USACE spokesperson previously told Newsweek that the materials were being disposed of "in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation."
"USACE has already transferred approximately $154 million worth of the roughly $260 million of bollard panels and other materials in accordance with standard excess property disposition procedures," a spokesperson said at the time. "USACE stands ready to implement a decision regarding disposition of the remaining materials."

I had just finished reading some frantic MSM articles claiming Trump is lying about the sale of border wall panels and then came across last year's article by Newsweek, a pro Biden outlet, seemingly refuting the MSM 'narrative'. I have little idea what the truth is, but Trump knows and I'm glad he halted the sale. Note back when Biden wanted money, the price of materials was higher. Now there's a 'fire sale' to get rid of it.
They then auction off the wall panels. for pennies on the dollar. for scrap
.Anyone , or any company , that gets involved in trying to buy or make off with any portion of wall materials should be both sued and blacklisted from ever having any business with the FedGov again. Also, promise that the IRS will be directed to thoroughly audit them.

I want to know who bought it and why. It would foolish to scrap it when odds are that the fed/gov will need to buy it back.
