Atmosphere from a drive thru window? Why would I want to get dressed, drive the clunker with no heat for an hour to any coffee shop to pay out the nose for a little cup accompanied by a bent spoon while I have to listen to everyone else in the place and all the beeps and jingles of their phones? No way. I can sit in my comfy chair wearing funny fuzzy house shoes all snuggled down with a couple cats sharing a robe, having a big mug of coffee that is 15 steps away from a refill (no tipping $1 for each step) and chit chat with the family and FR.
If you take away the coffee, then, as I wrote, it’s better to get coffee from Dunkin or McDonald’s.
The key usp of a coffeehouse is atmosphere
