HAPPY CHRISTMAS! In these next few days billions of us around the world celebrate the birth of a Middle Eastern refugee who, 2,000 years ago, changed the course of the world forever.
Let me tell you some of his story.
This is just a short extract from near the beginning of the adventure. When Maryam, a young, poor, and no doubt terrified Palestinian girl, gives birth in a run-down animal pen, to a baby who was foretold for hundreds of years.
To many of us, it is undoubtedly: The Greatest Story Ever Told.

Nope
It wasnt until 1968, when the phrase “Palestinian” was coined to describe disparate tribes, Lebanese, Egyptians etc as one unified people
Their travel arrangements were as good as Augustus’ census made them.
Jesus was a Jew
In the province of Galilee.
In the country of Judea.
Ruled by Herod.
In a region of the Levant.
Which was part of Roman Empire ruled by Tiberus Ceaser.
The entire middle east and Egypt was conquered years before by Julius Ceaser Council of Rome.
Who proclaimed himself Dictator.
Jesus and his family were refuges. IN EGYPT.
They were warned about Herod and they went quickly into Egypt for awhile where they were refugees by definition, I think...
Mary’s linage is traced in scripture. She is, without a doubt, Jewish. None of this “Palestinian” crap applies to her.
Is Trump a "refugee" from New York because he moved to Florida? A refugee is someone who goes to another country.
In the case of the Holy Family they traveled from one Roman Province to another.
You would be on firmer ground if they had gone with the wise back along the Silk Road to the Parthian Empire or Cathay or even India.
As it was when the governor of their province went out of his gourd they moved to the province next door.
Something that I think those who are currently living in states with insane governors have contemplated.
