God bless you!
I lost my wife two years ago after 50-plus years. She was my rock. Quite an empty life with her not here.
Christmas with her was an over-the-top family production. I miss it with great sadness -- but I am so deeply thankful for all the Christmases we had. Sadly, memories are all that's left now.
She's with God now and probably decorating the tree for Him :-). They are both with me in spirit all the time, and I look forward to the day I can join her again in eternity. Till then, I'll muddle through.
Merry Chrismas.
My kids are on 3 different continents (Hawaii; California, Spain). My father in law passed away on 02NOV; My mother in law passed away on 04DEC. After 62 years of marriage 32 days was enough time apart and now with Jesus this Christmas.
Had them over for Labor day cookout. Didn't think that was the last meal we be sharing.
The Lord works things on his schedule, that's for sure. Thanking God for all the years we had Christmas together and sadly took it for granted. Sure makes you think.
