Austin is a woke goat rodeo.
My mother’s brother and family lived in Ft. Worth from the early 50s to the 70s. We used to visit them every other summer in July or August in the 60s. All I remember is BUGS., steaming HEAT, horny toads...and my uncle and dad sitting in aluminum lawn chairs in the driveway drinking beer. That was before house and car AC was commonplace.
Fear not....as soon as the libs discover it they’ll move in like a swarm of locusts and trash the hell out of it.......after all, is there ANYTHING they touch that doesn’t turn into a steaming pile of cow excrement?
My family are native Texans and Fort Worth for 40 years...too many moving here, and
we especially wish we didn’t see so many license tags from blue states.:-!
Austin is off the Left Wing Deep end. It started in the 80’s.
Austin was great until they decided to be trendy. Soon, they were soft on crime and normal people wanted to leave. Eventually, there will just be the criminals and cling-ons with small pockets of gated communities.
I may be mistaken but Fort Worth (Tarrant County) is the largest red-voting county in the nation.
Leftism is never a good place for business.
Austin will continue to sink until the Demonicrats destroy it or the Demonicrats are electively (or judicially) defenestrated from the city council, the AISD, and the Travis County DA’s office.
Lived there in the 90s. Where the west begins!!
Back in 2018 I was driving through some of the "trendy" neighborhoods near downtown FW. There were so many BETO yard signs I thought I was in Austin.
The lesson: "Trendy" is not necessarily a good thing.
Fort Worth is just West Dallas.
Austinfornia. Irredeemable Californicators s hole. Only a matter of time until Texas turns blue like California. When I started my Biz in Cali it was solid republican. Texas is on the same path.
And then every single hot metro blows it to smithereens by overbuilding multi-family, which immediately descend into perpetual crime zones that metastasize overnight and ruin the old neighborhoods that border. Happening to the Nash as you read this.
