What the hell is a 'Diwali"?
Diwali is a very fun holiday in India - a ‘festival of lights’:

It’s an Indian holiday about the triumph of light over darkness. Good over evil. It’s generally like a week after Halloween. I only know this because we reached “critical mass” where I work.
Watch “The Office” Diwali party episode. It’s a classic.
Not 100% sure, but I think it’s where their pagan god with 9 arms comes out and does the Kama Sutra… then they all eat curry.
It’s an Indian festival celebrating light’s triumph over darkness. Food, dancing, spending time with family and friends, all good things.
Not sure, but I think I read that Tulsi celebrates it.
Asian Indians.
I believe it used to be called Mt. McKinley.
Oops. Sorry, that’s “Denali.”
“What the hell is a ‘Diwali”?”
I was wondering too. Maybe we can find the author - “Sho Dewan” - and ask!
But I looked it up. Wiki: “is the Hindu festival of lights, with variations celebrated in other Indian religions such as Jainism and Sikhism. It symbolises the spiritual victory of Dharma over Adharma, light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Diwali is celebrated...around mid-September and mid-November.”
IOW, no one really gives a rat’s rear end about it.
