Vladimir Putin has promised ‘further destruction’ of Ukraine after a Russian oil field was destroyed by a ‘massive’ drone strike overnight.
Video footage of the strike shows the oil field erupting in an enormous explosion after the drone attack, lighting up the sky with apocalyptic yellow and orange as Russian air defences seek to defend the strategic depot. The Steel Horse facility supplies Vladimir Putin’s armed forces in Ukraine, and links to the Druzhba pipeline which sends Russian oil to Europe.

Hey Bozo, what exactly is the revenge going to be? Russia already hit Ukraine's energy infrastructure like 10 billion times. Each year you bozos brag that they're going to freeze to death without electricity.
So what exactly is the revenge for doing to Russia what Russia has been doing to Ukraine since the start of the war?
“So what exactly is the revenge for doing to Russia what Russia has been doing to Ukraine since the start of the war?”
Well, since Ukraine is still fighting, there are targets left to hit. Obviously, to any sentient person, (and you are not), Putin is saying that he will retaliate in a more extreme measure with more destructive weaponry.
You are such a repulsive bonehead.
can’t we all just, like, try to get along?
In fact, he has been taking his revenge in advance for some time now.
He says it all the time and all he does is bomb more schools or apartment buildings or shopping malls or critical infrastructure, the same terrorism against the civilian population since day one.
And YOU are repulsive for not acknowledging that fact, but instead gloating that this time, like all times, finally, seriously, the Ukrainians are gonna get it for the crime of [insert something Russia has already done].
You watch what, Dennys and the Uke major? Try some actual reporting. Ukraine’s army is in no condition to win, nor stop Russia. They lost a half million soldiers and replaced 280k. Their combat units are down to 200k and Russia is aporoching 1m. In 2022-2023, Ukraine had 1.2m and over 1m but in 2024 they began the year with 700k.
Can they make it July 2025?
“And YOU are repulsive for not acknowledging that fact, but instead gloating that this time..”
As I said, you are definitely NOT a sentient person, besides being a repulsive individual.
In no where in my post can you find any gloating. You are an idiot.
Ghost ships and what happened with those two ships breaking a welds are two different things.
The ships that broke up and sank were ships that were modified, larger ships with mid section removed and then bow and stern welded back together. They were meant for calm water transport like rivers, but were sent out into rough waters.
I imagine they were used because Russia is out of the appropriate ships to use.
Ghost ship fleet are possibly sea worthy ships though I imagine many are pretty iffy used by Russia to break sanctions.
Regardless I would imagine as well that there is a premium price to haul the oil therefore cutting into the profit of those ships even if price of crude they are hauling breaks price per barrel sanctions.
The real rub is Russia is not producing and exporting refined crude very much if at all and that causes several problems
First that means they have to export more crude to keep oil flowing. If oil stops flowing esp in cold weather there are severe consequences to the pipeline infrastructure, likewise one cannot just start and stop wells without issues as well.
Second, selling of refined oil products is where the real profit is, and besides domestic needs being reduced by attacks on refineries, the drop in exports means drop in revenue for Kremlin.
Add the loss in NG exports and Kremlin revenue is hampered
None of this changes the fact that Russia has huge reserves, but if you can’t transport it and sell it at a profit then those reserves don’t help much right now. If all of this were to end today there will be a hefty price tag and time delay to be where they were before putin started this war
