Do you live on twinkies and Coke?
A low inflammatory diet just means real food — meat, eggs, fish, butter, olive oil, veggies, fruits and real bread, not wonder bread smeared with sugar and seed oils.
If you make your own meals and not out of a box or at fast food restaurants , you’re probably eating no -inflammatory.
Who has the energy to make all meals from scratch every day?
I remember growing up we had a cook who toiled every day from 9 AM to 7 PM to prepare meals from scratch. In those days in my city, there were no readymade meals. Heck there was no refrigeration. In American life today, nobody can spend so many hours fixing meals from scratch. And few people can afford to hire a full time cook. Get with reality!
“If you make your own meals and not out of a box or at fast food restaurants , you’re probably eating no -inflammatory.”
Excellent advice. I veer towards carnivore because I prefer lots of meat, but “is you make your own meals” if the common factor that unites things like vegan and carnivore.
I’ll add that if you mostly eat things people have eaten for the last 500 years, you’re probably OK. Lists of ingredients? THAT almost DEFINES “bad for you”!
“List-free food” is close to a definition of “good food”.
2 sodas a day, mor ing and night, water inbtween- the rest is meat diet, very little bread. A few veggies home grown, canned. Don’t eat out hardly at all, very rarely only eat 2 meals a day- always have for as long as I can remember. Used to drink 6 pack soda per day- don’t wanna quit altogether as I’m no quitter. Besides, if I quit the 2 sodas, I won’t know what I died from.
