I noticed that prices have skyrocketed over the past couple of years - I used to buy a foil pouch of different types of mushroom powders from a company called OM - for ≈ $17. Now those same foils pouches are $27.

I think because mushrooms have exploded in popularity.

Amazon had the best price on Chaga, apparently the most anti-cancer of all the mushrooms, I switched to Chaga completely.

All I know is that it seemed to work for us - until my husband decided to take some type of Chinese medicine his cousin gave him (which I didn’t know about at the time) - we believe that stimulated his cancer back into action, it exploded - killed him within months.

I’ve had great health with the coriolus versicolor mushroom.
Even gave to my 10 year old cat - no more blood in her eye
nor in her urine. I took it as a preventitive measure, did same with ivermectin but prefer the mushrooms.

I have noticed the same price increases in dried shiitake, it is, unfortunately, mostly from China. Due to industrial pollution I really prefer not to buy grown products from China or India.
