Russian commanders are reportedly refusing to send their troops to join a planned offensive to storm the Dnipro river.
Putin's army is building up its forces on the left bank of the Dnipro river, as it prepares to force a crossing.
Intelligence reports suggest 2,000 assault troops have been assembled in the Kherson region, along with some 300 speedboats.
However, many senior officers believe the planned assault to be a suicidal mission and are reluctant to commit their troops and equipment to the fight, according to the ATESH partisan group.
In a post to their Telegram channel, they wrote: "Russian military commanders refuse to send their subordinates to assaults in the Kherson region.
"ATESH agents report growing tension in Russian units located in the occupied territory of the Kherson region.
"The situation is becoming increasingly alarming: military personnel note intensified preparations for the offensive.
"Commanders are constantly called to urgent meetings, after which they return late at night - pale and clearly alarmed.
"This increases nervousness in units where no one really understands what is happening.
"Meanwhile, the command continues to set suicidal goals, further undermining the morale of the personnel."
The partisans noted that Russian units in Crimea were destroying their boats in a desperate bid not to be sent to Kherson to join the assault.

Tucker Carlson bashed Russian President Vladimir Putin’s justification for invading Ukraine, claiming that the “denazification” of the country was “one of the dumbest things I’d ever heard.”

Thank you for clarifying things. I honestly didn’t know that. On the other hand was a true that there was a negotiated settlement in Turkey before the war started that was undercut by Boris Johnson?
I can’t predict what the piece negotiations are gonna be, but I am inclined to think that Russia will keep Crimea and will also be given some of the eastern part of Ukraine.
If that was a possible settlement before all this bloodshed, then I think the people that allowed this war to happen Are the villains.
There is no doubt in my mind that the war was Putin‘s doing, but he would not have done it had we had a strong president in office such as Trump.
We provoked funded pushed Ukraine to fight Russia, basically in our behalf.

No, despite Russian propagandistic claims, there was to negotiated settlement in Turkey. There were some preliminary agreements but the Russian demands were too high. No Ukrainian government would ever have accepted them. And no, the talks were not scuttled by Boris Johnson. They broke down because of the revelations of the Bucha massacre which turned Ukrainian public opinion against any deal with the Russians. But these facts do not stop Russia and its apologists from continuing to make the claim that there was a deal that was blocked by Johnson.
Funny, Americans don't say "your Jan 6th Insurrection", even Democrats say "the Jan 6th Insurrection".
Conservatives know the unruly protest and rioting of January 6th wasn't anything like an insurrection.
So what country are you from?
Something bad must have happened to Russia today. Is it all the dead Russian soldiers in the river?
Ukraine fought for Ukraine. Remember Biden offered Zelensky an uber to London, where he could have lived comfortably for the rest of his life. Zelensky is a Ukrainian nationalist, and said he didn’t need a ride, he needed ammo. I knew Ukrainians growing up in Queens. They hated the Russians. As did Estonians, Poles, Latvians, and Lithuanians. Most of them would have preferred the Nazis to the Soviets.
