Germany was collapsing long before they got focused on picking the lesser of two evils in Russia and Ukraine. When Europe lost its spiritual way it led to them embracing nihilism. Thus they thought there was no harm with importing scores of new “Asians’ with completely different values (all societies are equal).
Ever since the end of the war, successive generations have had “collective guilt” relentlessly pounded into them. This has not been healthy for the country ...to say the least.
