Merry Christmas To All!

Posted on 12/18/2024 3:50:24 PM PST by Jamestown1630

This Twilight Zone episode, ‘The Night of the Meek’, first aired on television in 1960. It has long been one of the favorite Christmas stories in our house:

The Night of the Meek

I hope everyone enjoys a peaceful and happy Christmas season, and a good New Year. We have a lot to be thankful for.

LOL! The Gilligan’s Island one is great; and I like the Snowmen rejoicing in ‘stem cells’.

Merry Christmas.

"Merry Christmas To All!"

I was curious about who some of the actors were. Turns out the irate mother was played by Kay Cousins Johnson, who happened to be the wife of Russell Johnson, the Professor on Gilligan's Island.

There are probably all sorts of connections to be found in the acting world.

It’s like any other ‘neighborhood’.

Keep in mind that Santa left those 7 people on the island....

It’s not Santa’s job to solve everything - any more than it’s God’s.

(And it’s certainly not the job of either to end a successful TV series years before its time...)
