AT least one person has died after a Russian oil tanker split in two, with a second ship damaged in the Black Sea.
Footage shows one of the tankers split completely in half, with its bow vertically in the water, upturned and rapidly sinking.
An emergency rescue operation is currently underway to desperately evacuate both crews in yet another blow to Putin.
The Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239 are wrecked in the Kerch Strait amid fears for at least 27 sailors, with the damage reportedly resulting in a devastating oil spill.
Russian investigators say they have opened two criminal cases to look into possible safety violations.
The two Russian tankers in the Black Sea have been badly damaged due to stormy weather, according to the Interfax news agency.

fake North Korean sisters story - sWill Stewart and Miriam Kuepper

Writer Will Stewart and foreign news reporter Miriam Kuepper noted in their article that the photo had been “widely shared online.” However, unbeknownst to readers, the image was in fact an old photo of two Russian soldiers who had been edited to look Asian.
Hey - if you like your “news” fake - the author of this tanker piece, Will Stewart, he’s your man.
I didn’t think this had a lot to do with the war in Ukraine, but, it turns out, it does:

Sal delves in to how the Russia-Ukraine war lead up to this event. Basically, Russia sank vessels in front of the Kerch Bridge, to prevent or limit attacks on the bridge. This leaves a shipping “channel” so narrow (and shallow?) that only these smaller vessels, designed for riverine and coastal use, can get through. So, basically you have older ships that were shortened and not designed to be oceangoing ships, where they should not be.
There’s more to it - these ships were never meant for this duty.

Nonsense. Russia did this to themselves, sending riverine ships out where they were never designed to go.

How is the report of the two ships sinking, spam? Are you claiming it didn’t happen?
An interesting question here is whether the Danes may use this as an excuse to inspect Russian Dark Fleet tankers.
Absolutely not were suppose to be for calmer waters
It’s all Ruzzia, Ruzzia, Ruzzia with you Zeepers.
Ukraine has claimed attacking two tankers.
