A congressman says he was "deeply concerned" after police video recorded an army of 55 drones coming from New Jersey's ocean coast. Dozens of those drones also trailed a U.S. Coast Guard vessel.
The comments by U.S. Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J. 4th District, come as state homeland security officials are set to brief mayors across the state in a closed-door meeting on Wednesday morning.

The commanding officer for the Barnegat Coast Guard station, James Corbisiero, told Smith that between 20 and 30 of them followed one of the station's 47-foot rescue boats.
Smith said that given the Coast Guard deals with drug runners what would be the rules of engagement with the drone. (How about: Shoot One Down}

What places I fly my drones when I can, the few people in the area know it’s me at least.
I live in the heart of the burbs so there isn’t much point unless the DJI Neo in the back yard for playing around.
The Neo has a a really great camera.
I haven’t gotten to try the Mavic 3 yet.

I figger a cop videoed swarm should tell us a thing or two since I haven’t seen any pics of those so called mysterious drones in all this time. I see no cop video anywhere on the site. I see some stupid X video that I could literally replicate perfectly out in my backyard right now. Let’s cut the crap folks and find some worthy thing to get nuts about. Not buying any of this until we see something that actually means something.
Shoot up some flares to light them up. Makes a better target and will identify them as drones and not manned aircraft.

Every day they tell us the sky is full of them and yet they seem difficult to film.
I am thinking as much publicity and sightings as there have been and as much has been written and spoke about these drones, the government knows exactly what and who they belong to.
Since the government has been completely silent about this it almost stands to reason our government has a lot to do with them...

The fact they haven't shut down any airports until they solve the mystery of the 'mysterious drones' should tell you there's no mystery and no threat.

That’s it exactly — they’re ours. The rumor is that they’re sniffing for radiation leaked by a dirty bomb thought to be in the area. The various drones have all sorts of high-tech (and secret) sensors, all being used to try to locate and track the rumored device.

He also suggested the government must know more about the mysterious sightings.
