Dear Robert,
I wanted to share some good news regarding the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), an important piece of legislation that provides funding and sets policies for the U.S. Department of Defense.
First, the effort to "Draft our Daughters" has been thwarted for another year! Language requiring women to register with the Selective Service (which would make them eligible for any future military drafts) has been removed from this year's NDAA.
In addition, this year's NDAA includes a provision that prohibits taxpayer funding of "gender transition" procedures for the children of service members. This marks the first time a federal law will protect minors from these harmful procedures. It is particularly stunning when you consider that the provision survived the Democrat-controlled Senate. Praise God!
And finally, language that would have expanded in vitro fertilization (IVF) without pro-life safeguards has been removed from this year's NDAA. Our team has been working for months to ensure that federal legislation dealing with IVF includes pro-life protections. We consider the removal of the problematic IVF language a huge victory!
The bill passed the House and will get a Senate vote next week. Please pray that these positive changes will remain in the final bill.
I want to thank everyone who contacted their members of Congress and prayed for this NDAA. I also want to thank you for supporting FRC Action through your prayers, engagement, and giving. You make our work on Capitol Hill advocating for policies consistent with a biblical worldview possible.

How is this draft/draft registration thing applied to the trans segment of the population?
The draft our daughters was a scam to fill the Services up with sexual weirdos and illegals.
Yeah…what about non-binary? 🧐
The compromise would be ‘lowering standards’ to let in more DEI types....
There can be females at the battalion level for medical, but not at the platoon level because they would not be able to keep up on full load/fast movements.
I don’t think either party wants to be the party that started drafting women.
You do know according to exit polls, young women (18-29) supported Harris by 24 points. The corresponding aged men supported Trump by 2 points.
The idea of drafting women is cultural suicide. The birth rate is low enough as it is.
Female draft is a brain dead concept pushed by both feminists and those who resent the societal distortions feminism has caused.
Women are vulnerable in battle and distract men who act to protect women companions to the detriment of battle effectiveness.
Women in the military lead to lowering of standards and of requirements for various positions. The average woman is not capable of being trained to be a killing machine. Some are but they will self select and can enlist if they can meet male standards.
There are positions that women can capably fill in the armed services but they should never be drafted nor be on the front lines.
👍 👍 👍
The freakish minority should not dictate the standard for the majority, any more than the majority should force a minority.
Would you force the womenfolk out of the hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of homes of Biblical traditional nuclear family life?
Millions of women would ignore the mandate if ever passed into law. These women are intelligent enough to know that without the strength of the core of America---the Biblical-type, traditional, nuclear family, which would be damaged severely by removing young women from their homes, especially young married with babies, toddlers, and kindergarteners---and they would say "NO" enmass. They would refuse to participate in the chaos that would wreck this country if women were to be drafted.
The "Dradt-Our-Daughters" Movement does not exist to strengthen our military; but rather to destroy the family unit, and to fulfill the terms Hillary Clinton's "It-Takes-A-Village" ideology.
Why so-called conservatives on a site like Free Republic think that this is an issue of equality to men, when that is a leftist mantra, is beyond me.
Stupid propaganda.
There is no draft, and there is no possibility of there being one.
Registration for Selective Service without enabling legislation - which could never pass - is meaningless.
I did not say that. In fact, what I said was:
The overwhelming mass of younger women in particular support that because it isn't real for them. It's just a "cause" for women! Yay!
59% of women under 30 voted for Harris, and women in combat units is part of that "girl power" cause. And of course, they're also supported by feminized males who like the idea of not having to live up to traditional male roles in society, and would love to see them supplanted by women.
It's like women demanding equal representation in all the desirable jobs, but wanting nothing to do with the tough, dangerous jobs overwhelmingly performed by men. 50% of CEOs must be female, but not linemen, roughnecks, or garbage men. Cherry-picking crap.
So again, if a majority of women support the leftist demand to lower standards in combat units so that other women who want to be in them get that chance because "we're all equal", then fine. Be equally subject to the draft. Because otherwise, women as a whole will keep pushing those ridiculous policies.
The only way to change their politics is to change their reality.
Because if that was the rule, I bet the support for women in combat units would crash.
That language, only in the closing days, has now been stripped, or altered, to exclude women from the mandate to register.
There does remain provision in law to re-instate a draft/conscription. It is on the books. If it were not, there would be no Selective Service System at all. Congress could re-instate a draft.
If the Draft-Our-Daughters movement ever does finally push through to mandate the registration of females, then it will be very likely that the Pentagon will want to test the compliance of women in some form of call up.
In 1994 Rep Lee Hamilton (D-IN-9) wrote to me that it was preposterous to think that women would ever be "in combat," and that my "concerns are mispalced." That was 1994.
From 1991(!) women were in many of those Humvees in Iraq, wearing battle dress and gear, carrying ARs or M-whatevers, susceptible to the same dangers as men, in harm's way, liable to injury or death from IEDs as well as bullets. Those women were kicking in doors of homes in Iraqi villages.
I was sitting in a bookstore in Tampa, reading Rep. Hamilton's letter, where I could literally see books on display which were written by women who had seen combat in Iraq. But a Congressman, Lee Hamilton, was telling me it was not so. To Lee Hamilton, I read in subsequent letters, those women were "Intelligence Officers" there for the purpose of interviewing or interrogating Muslim women who would not speak with males. The books of those women actually stated that. So when there were firefights, and patrols, where were those women???? They were in combat; that's where they were.
To say that there will never be a draft is like saying, . .
1. Women weren't in combat in 1991;
2. Two men will never be issued a marriage license to marry one another;
3. People who believe it normal for adults to have sex with children will never be given the time of day;
4. Nobody would ever tolerate the removal the of sex organs of children to alter their sex;
. . . or dozens of other things now being done that normal people know are abominable and thirty years ago no one would have believed it could ever take place.
We believe that if one has the Biblical conviction to stand one's ground, or to live and labor in a particular direction, we should never put our signature to anything contrary to that.
My daughters conscientiously believe that they should develop their homes as a ministry to the next generation, and to strengthen the core of the nation. That core is the Biblically-oriented, traditional family unit. For them to sign a Selective Service registration form just to avoid a conflict now, hoping that there will never actually be a draft, is duplicitous and can be used by a draft board to allege no conscientiousness.
Yes, and Congress could mandate everyone to wear purple underwear and speak only Norwegian, which is just as likely.
Women can be drafted and put into noncombatant roles.
If you want equality, then you must accept the responsibility.
Otherwise, you’re just hypocrites.
Draft those women. Girl Power!
Put it to use.
Women of today lack feminine qualities and the desire for family or protect children.So put those proud sluts to use.
But it’s ok to do that to Christian males?
Screw that.
These females still claim the benefits, they can get off their phones and help their country.
I think the draft is a bad idea at all. But drafting normal little girls, raised to be normal little Christian girls, who played with dolls, who want to form families and be gentle is depraved.
Only lesbos who want to be military officers, psychos and faggots want to draft women.
Women can be drafted and put into noncombatant roles.
If you want equality, then you must accept the responsibility.
Otherwise, you’re just hypocrites.
You’re clueless. Current law is that women can used be in ANY military job. There are no male and female jobs anymore... none. Second of all, very few military jobs are “noncombatant” anymore due to the nature of our military. Motor T is noncombatant. They had massive casualties in Iraq.
And last, your stupid plan is to get revenge on the “girl power” radfem crowd by drafting young girls who want nothing of what they are pushing.
Dumb.
