When does Barack Obama ask Susan Rice to petition Joe Biden for a presidential pardon for himself? With the pardon frenzy buzzing around the Biden camp, a trial balloon for an Obama pardon has already begun drifting toward the Oval Office.
Biden will be well advised to limit his pardons to members of his own family. In his NBC News Meet the Press interview on Sunday, December 8, Trump explained that he had no intention of appointing a special prosecutor to investigate Joe Biden, despite Biden’s enthusiasm to raid Mar-a-Lago under the authority of Jack Smith, the special prosecutor the Biden administration appointed in an attempt to convict and incarcerate Trump in federal criminal prison.
Nevertheless, given the resistance coup d’état that the Deep State has waged against Donald J. Trump since before the first inauguration on January 20, 2017, the fear and loathing among Biden administration top-level operatives to beg for pardons attests to their awareness that the second Trump administration will witness justice administered by a righteous Trump Vindictus [i.e., translated from Latin: Trump’s Revenge]. Those petitioning now for pardons are doing so because they know the crimes they have committed, and they are afraid that with the massive declassification of information that the incoming Trump administration is planning to make public, their guilt will no longer remain hidden.
What Obama fears is that Biden might be persuaded to issue a sweeping set of Deep State pardons to a list that would include various top-level Obama administration officials like former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former Attorney General James Comey who potentially could be forced to provide damaging criminal testimony against him.

Trump should simply turn everyone pardoned over to the The Hauge for prosecution, and put them in GITMO.
Trump should arrest all those government employees given pardons and prosecute them to the fullest extent. These are not happenstance crimes...these crimes were planned by the Biden Administration and executed by willing Biden operatives or sympathizers. If it creates a Constitutional crisis then... oh well.
If Biden issued a pardon for every Democrat, he is basically admitting that they're guilty.
If he is going to do nothing, the Democrats can blame it on Trump due to partisan politics. They have help from mainstream media. It's not going to matter what the Trump Administration will discover on January 20.

Agree, although it would have been more fun if Trump had strung-out Getz (who probably wouldn’t have cared) and then named Cash one week prior to Jan 20.
This is my plan:
1. An incumbent President running for re-election should only be able to grant pardons up to election day. Make him issue those underhanded pardons before the vote. If he loses, then no more pardons.
2. The transition period should be two weeks. People no longer have to travel by horseback to get to their new jobs and setup living arrangements.
3. Congress should be in recess during the transition period except for emergencies.
4. Any EO's and important decisions should be in consultation and agreement with the incoming President.

Concur completely with your opinion and your reasoning. Biden isn’t working in his own self-interest, other than focusing on his family. I truly wonder how much he is told of the decisions currently going forward. He will be presented with a list and a rational explanation of why he has to sign it. The only one I wonder if he’d be willing to sign off on is Kamala’s. Would think they need to hide hers somewhere in small print.

Great. So we let the Dems go thru with blanket pardons for all that they explain because of the uncontrollable maniac coming into power, and then we limit TRUMP to not being able to protect himself and his own when all the frozen indictments are unfrozen at the end of his 4 years. /sarc

I agree that she’s making sure her own are taken care of, but I can’t believe that she’s pushing to protect the ones who didn’t take care of her people. That list won’t come from her. It will come from those endangered and she’ll make sure that all of hers are protected and ignore the rest. She has no political future to protect, nor do any of hers. And she has a lot of retribution to take care of, as well as Trump.
Exactly why it would never get done. Nobody wants to put any new restrictions on their own party. Instead of planning for the next criminal dem.
Same with term limits, salary cuts, insider trading, et.al.
As for Trump it does not apply, because he would not be running for re-election.
People who are pardoned will ALWAYS commit perjury when questioned by law enforcement or
by Congress.
