Wow. Interesting they’re restricting it geographically
It’s an American film. One of the best of all time. Sad
Didn’t care for the flick. Too many contemporary phrases used for a 1940’s timeline. Interracial bromance. Not my cup of tea.
I’m surprised it’s definitely considered one of the best probably for my generation
Ah,c’mon! Ease up! Interracial? Why is that an issue? Morgan Freeman is one of the truly great actors of our era and he proves it in Shawshank.
Yes some good ones on your list
I liked the crime/mob ones: Godfather, Casino, etc.
Try using a VPN and spoofing the country.
Shawshank and the green mile were both written by Steven king
I got my 4K home setup initially because of the many nature documentaries that the BBC has released. Seeing a giraffe on your TV screen that looks like it's right in your living room is amazing. But I must say that Lawrence of Arabia is also amazing in 4K.
Yup,I knew that. I can’t say that I was particularly impressed with The Green Mile...although I know that it,too,is considered a classic.
Perhaps the most overrated film of all time. A crime that it sits atop the IMDB list of best-ever, ABOVE Godfather. Pathetic joke.
In the novella, “Red” was a large Irishman. Morgan Freeman did a good job, but it was an adaptation.
In the book…the Sisters won as much as they lost.
I may be misremembering but didn’t the film imply that the Sisters succeeded?
It’s been a while, but I think there was a narrative line that said something along those lines.
If you enjoy reading check out an author named Dean Koontz.
I enjoy his work
