For you FReepers who are Rail Fans or even have had idiot bosses watch this video.
This is an audio recording of Train Engineers talking to their dispatchers.
The dispatcher is telling these train Engineers to do what? As one Engineer said "this makes stupid look smart"
For you Rail Fans this could have been another Lac Megantic disaster because the dispatcher was a moron.

NS has their nationwide dispatchers at a facility south of Atlanta. I would strongly suspect the person has no idea the train is slowing do to the incline but is thinking the train is slowing on purpose......hence the direction.
While this was shot before my son started working for NS, he has been on the curve a number of times and knows the engineers on the call. Yeah, he has been stuck on the curve once.
