I am afraid that our entertainment and isolation and enemies have made us hard-hearted towards the deaths of our military.

I had to go to people’s homes and tell them that their Soldier was dead.

I had to be in charge of funeral details and see families face the death of their Soldier.

I had to help families transition from being a military family.

The pain and grief was almost unbearable.

It made me much more concerned about my Soldiers.

I think that every registered voter should be put in a pool and randomly selected to help notify families, attend military funerals and assist families transitioning from the military.
