It’s VERY American.
Are these food dye really toxic, or is just the Euro-Weenies who are complaining?
Good on her for taking Big Food to task. These companies will sicken and kill us for a few pennies of profit.
They’re toxic. Mcds fries in Europe have 3 ingredients. 17 ingredients here.
If these “ingredients” are legitimately bad, then I cannot wrap my head around why corporations would selectively add this exclusively to the US market. It appears, for example, that the US Froot Loops appear brighter in color, but so what? You add it because it looks prettier and yet is ostensibly unhealthy poison? Makes no sense.
Last time I checked, no one is being force fed Fruit Loops.
Certain parties wish to remove that choice for everyone.
Forget the dye just shape them like the fruit they taste like but they all taste the same ,LOL
No wonder all the commercial of late
No wonder all the commercial of late
I have never seen one on TV Land.
Cheaper to make, probably longer shelf life.
I’ve noticed that our local ‘OLLIE’S’, a store similar to Big Lots, that buys over-production and damaged shipments rejected by stores, suddenly has lots of Fruit Loops on sale............
Nobody is removing that choice. The choice they are trying to remove is Froot Loop’s choice to sell worse products in America.
From that ingredient list, it looks like the other countries add more sugar.
I place a significant blame for liberals for ruining McDonald's fries. Back in the late 80s or so they howled about McDonald's using beef tallow in their fries and McDonald's, ever the weak-kneed woke company, capitulated and their fries were forever ruined.
Liberals did the same thing with McDonald's clam shell packaging.
And plastic straws.
And paper grocery bags, then plastic grocery bags.
Liberals destroy everything they touch.
It’s probably cheaper and probably some degree addictive to kids who eat the junk.
Remember quite a few of these major food companies are owned by big tobacco companies who have a history of making things that are bad for public health more addictive.
Then you have to look at the big picture of the symbiotic relationship between Big Food Companies and the Health Care and Drug Industries.
Feed the public things that affect their health, they get sick and require healthcare, the healthcare companies prescribe drugs to treat the symptoms on a continuing basis while not fixing the issue.
Think about all the lobbying money these industries have to keep the status quo of a never-ending supply of sick Americans getting fed bad food.
Cheaper to produce would be my guess.
Penny saved is a penny earned.
It’s VERY American."

Yeah, Bill Gates style.
Sugar is cheaper in other countries.
We pay higher prices because of government protection of domestic Sugar Growers........................
