I hope they show Led Zeppelin when they were country and rock and roll in the 1950s.
Check it out, you will be amused.

The recorded ‘73 MSG concert is no doubt referenced
Awesome. I found I can preorder tickets already. Gonna grab a bunch of friends for this one.
Always partial to III.
"Since I've Been Loving You" is probably the last long, traditional blues number they did.
Exciting. Well worth the 2-hour drive to go see my 2nd IMAX film in 20 years (regal ‘imax’ is NOT IMAX).
I have heard a couple of new LZ releases on Sirius XM, probably the Vinyl channel. I think both of them were demos of songs you would recognize.
I was introduced to Led Zeppelin, along with Pink Floyd, by my little sister.
I’ve been to two IMAX movies in my life, and I’ll never be to another. The first was at Disney World, and fortunately was quite short. It was a full 360 degree surround, so everyone had to stand and turn in all directions. At least there were hand holds for all directions of view, but that also meant that I had to stand the whole time, and was blocked from leaving. At least I didn’t fall over.
The second was at an AMAX theater, so at least the audience could sit in chairs. The sound was so loud that it was too uncomfortable to endure. I left after about 15 minutes and sat in the lobby until the rest of our group came out. Even in the lobby, the sound was so loud that I regularly went outside in the heat until that became unbearable, too. Never again, regardless of the content of the film.
Yup- Christmas has come early....
Greatest. Band. Ever!!!!
“Hammer of the Gods” Indeed!
Get the Led Out.
Count me in!
We come from the land of the ice and snow, to IMAX in Detroit we go. :)
Spoiler alert- here is a shot by shot breakdown of the movie, including lots of vids from the 1969 Texas Pop Festival (i’ve had that bootleg for years)

Later.
I saw Zep in 73 or 74 in the old sombrero stadium in Tampa...for 3 songs. Then it started raining and the band left. Then the riot started. But those 3 tunes were amazing!
Led Zeppelin I and Physical Graffiti are both Rock masterpieces.
But they sucked live.
