EXCLUSIVEAuthor Jay Feinman refuses to address 'deny, defend, depose' message found on UnitedHealthcare CEO killer's bullets
Daily Mail UK ^ | December 5, 2024

The author of a book tied to the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson refused to address the killer's apparent tribute to his tome when contacted by DailyMail.com.

Author Jay M. Feinman responded 'no comment' when asked for his take on bullet casings left at the scene of Thompson's shooting outside Manhattan's Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, which were scrawled with 'depose', 'deny' and 'defend.'

The message is eerily similar to Feinman's 2010 book 'Delay, Deny, Defend', which details 'why insurance companies don't pay claims and what you can do about it.'

Critics allege the tactic is used by insurance companies to 'ensure your claim is either never paid or paid at a rate far below what you deserve'.

Health insurance boss Thompson, 50, was shot in the back and calf early on Wednesday by a masked man who fled on a bike, before the CEO succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Feinman is a law professor at Rutgers University. It's unclear whether he had any personal impetus to write the book.

It explains how the health insurance industry routinely puts claimants off with bureaucratic tactics and, in the end, never end up paying out.

Police are yet to confirm the gunman's identity or motive.

"The message is eerily similar to Feinman's 2010 book 'Delay, Deny, Defend'"

'deny, defend, depose' Seems to me the sniper was sending a message to Thompson.

I suspect that that is a misdirection. What better way to cover up a professional hit then make it look like it was someone with an ax to grind?

Either way, it’s got to be good for this guy’s book sales.

We will find out.

Just too much is off about this. “A lone nut with a gun” just managed to know when where and how to get to this guy at a place he could magically vanish from?

Sound more like a trained professional to me.

There is an 80% chance it was the wife, or if she had one, the lover.

I say this is a message to Trump from the opposition. I can’t explain it but it sounds like something the liberal unhinged would scream as a mantra.

I think refusing to comment is a wise decision on the part of the author. Otherwise, he would be accused of exploiting the situation to promote his book.

BINGO, my first thought as well. The wordy bullets are a total MISDIRECTION as well as NY investigators releasing photos of PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT THE SUSPECT so as to CONFUSE finding the real suspect.

This has all the hallmarks of a DEEP STATE OP in order to PROTECT PROMINENT POLITICIANS such as Hillary Clinton with the Seth Rich murder.

THIS INVOLVES CONGRESS CRITTER'S INSIDER TRADING or THE COVID PLANDEMIC by the Deep State.

Why should the author explain anything to anyone, he didn’t do it

Why should he address anything? He wrote a book. He didn’t pull the trigger.

He knew how to find his target in a place, using a method of killing, that would allow him to escape without any clear way to identify him.

This smack not only of training but also inside information.

The idea that he just got lucky strains the limits of credulity.

What photos of people who are not the suspect have been released? I’ve seen only the video of the shooting and the two photos of the suspect at a counter without his mask on. Have there been other photos released?
