Why is Dr. Scott Gottlieb so desperate to keep Robert F. Kennedy Jr. out of Trump's cabinet?
Unreported Truths ^ | 2 Dec, 2024 | Alex Berenson

Gottlieb - Pfizer director, Biden v Berenson defendant - is openly trying to block RFK from the Dept. of Health and Human Services. His pharma paymasters must be even more worried than I thought.

If I’ve learned anything about Dr. Scott Gottlieb while suing him for his role in making Twitter censor me in 2021, it’s that he thrives in darkness.

Which is why his open attack on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shows how badly Big Pharma wants to keep Kennedy from the federal government’s top healthcare job - Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Gottlieb is a walking, talking conflict of interest who personifies everything wrong with American medicine. In May 2017, he became Food and Drug Administration commissioner. Less than two years later, he quit. Barely three months later, he joined the board of Pfizer, which has paid him about $2 million since then.

($2 million? That’s a lot of Unreported Truth.)

It’s not just Pfizer. Gottlieb has worked as an advisor, director, or investor at dozens of other healthcare companies. He regularly appears on CNBC and CBS too, offering independent opinions - independent opinions that almost always benefit Pfizer and his other paymasters. When he last practiced medicine is unclear, though a resume from 2015 suggests he last worked as a hospital internist in 2012.

But Gottlieb’s seamiest turn through the revolving door came earlier, and involved fentanyl, the opioid that has killed almost 1 million Americans.

In 2006, during his first FDA stint, Gottlieb “tried to help a pharmaceutical company secure more fentanyl,” in the words of the Washington Post. The drugmaker, Cephalon, was pushing its Actiq fentanyl lollipops for widespread “off-label” use, though the FDA had approved them only for patients with late-stage cancer.

Gottlieb left the FDA in 2007 - and went on to write a report defending Cephalon in a Pennsylvania lawsuit over Actiq. The judge in the case referred to him as “Cephalon’s regulatory expert” in a March 2015 ruling.

Yet Gottlieb never disclosed receiving payments from Cephalon during his 2017 Senate confirmation hearings to become FDA commissioner, apparently because the law firm that Cephalon hired paid him, not the company itself.

Now Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is about to face his own Senate confirmation hearings, to become Donald Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Gottlieb is trying to stop him. Last week, he went on CNBC to claim that Kennedy would “cost lives” in his new job.

As Unreported Truths readers know, I disagree with some of Kennedy’s views, which can be overly conspiratorial.

But I agree with his core premise that the $5-trillion-a-year United States biomedical complex - including everything from basic research to drug development to hospitals to insurers - is out-of-control, too often hurts patients, and costs far more than it should.

Healthcare needs radical overhaul. With the right people working for him, and some of his more worrisome beliefs restrained, Kennedy can push long-overdue change.

On the other hand, Scott Gottlieb’s history suggests he sees government work as nothing more than a way to polish his resume as he moves between industry gigs. If I had to pick between Gottlieb and Kennedy as the next Secretary of Health and Human Services, I’d choose Kennedy in a heartbeat.....SNIP

I think the industry insiders have shown they cannot do the oversight.

The same reason Schiff wants to keep Kash out. They fear justice in this life. They don’t care about the after life because they don’t believe.

We’d be better off pulling random people off the street, and giving them the oversight jobs. That goes for every governmental institution (Defense, FBI, etc.).

Side note to the FBI snoops: I’m just kidding there. You guys are doing a great job. Please don’t open a file on me.

Scott Gottlieb is the FDA/Pfizer guy. I recognized his last name from the book “Poisoner in Chief”. The man who ran the CIA MK Ultra program testing LSD on unwitting subjects was Sidney (maybe Sydney) Gottlieb. Amazingly in 1950 Sidney worked at the FDA where we developed tests to detect the presence of drugs in the human body, then he moved onto CIA Biowarfare.

Back to Scott. According to Wiki, his first job out of college was at Alex. Brown & Sons, America’s oldest investment bank. The bank was run by A. B. Krongard, who left there in March of 2001 to become executive director of the Central Intelligence Agency... basically the Chief Operating Officer of the CIA.

So the question I have, with our FDA/Pfizer guy Scott Gottlieb who pushed the mRNA human Guinea Pig concept, having close CIA associates, and with the most infamous CIA mad scientist Sydney Gottlieb testing LSD and other drugs on unwitting human subjects, and coming from the same area around NYC.... is our guy today following the family tradition?

I do not have the answer or ability to research this beyond a Wikipedia and published book level of knowledge, but I wonder if America has a modern “Gottlieb-Mengele” problem.

Doesn’t look like his dad is Sidney, Scott’s his dad is “Stanley” who was a psychologist”... and there isn’t much info on him.

Could just be that “Gottlieb” is like “Smith” for the NYC Jewish community and I am just making a connection where none actually exists. But just food for thought. Both in FDA, both CIA connected, both in the human Guinea Pig business. Probably justa coinkidink….

Maybe I’m seeing nothing where there is nothing. But it could be another globalist generational thing like the Bush family, the Freud-Bernase family, the Krystol family, the Bill Gates family etc.

Gottleib might just be carrying on the CIA human experimentation family business from the 1950s. Nobody is amazed when an Unser youngster starts driving race cars.
This Gottlieb clown might just be more evil and connected than we know.

Kennedy can seem conspiratorial at times I suppose when surrounded by the wrong people or in campaign mode or when he wants to sound intimidating. But when he gets inside a courtroom or head of a federal agency it is an adversarial context where facts and evidence matter, not speculation, rumor, conspiracy theories, or flights of fancy. As a highly successful trial lawyer if he tried to push unsubstantiated conjecture onto a jury, his opponent would be right there to push back on it and demonstrate the lack of evidence supporting the argument. It shouldn’t even be in the same sentence as Gottlieb.

For the same reason the neocon brigade is desperate to keep Tulsi Gabbard out.

One thing is, RFK wants to ban pharma from media advertising. I strongly support this, and believe this would hit their pocketbook hard. As a bonus, it would hit the media pocketbook just as hard. Then they might stop carrying water for Big Pharma.

Yes, I was watching the local news channel. It had a banner that they were sponsored by Moderna. I constantly see commercials for pharmaceuticals.

If that is the side their bread is buttered on, who would anyone ever trust their reporting on the shot or medical issues.
