States like Mexico, Venezuela and Guatemala?
They had a piece about the Census bass turds this morning on FOX. It appears with every census, the blue state populations increase and the red states populations decreased. It’s all about politics. I’ve been working my family history for a couple decades now. The most frustrating and bs crap you have to deal with are the Censuses. THEY ARE A JOKE. ALL OF THEM. A friggin’ joke.
I think in any given year, thousands and even hundreds of thousands leave any big state for many reasons. This has been going on for some time, but only in the last decade or so has this been getting all the headlines.
Is this net migration?
Are those stats including illegals?
Because that’s the only way I see TX and FL being part of that.
Well, I’ve watched Colorado turn into a blue state courtesy all the inbound Californicators. In the ‘70s they used to bitch about the ‘Texans clogging up the ski slopes with their fur coats and diamond rings’. No longer - 20+ years ago I saw a bumper sticker that read ‘At least the Texans went home after ski season’ (-:
“New Yorkers Have Been Leaving In Droves”
Bastards have been doing that since the 70’s. Earlier to Florida where they still vote in both places.
I still blame them for the radical change in Calif politics in the mid-70’s.
Yep and it has very little to do with the political climate. Most people move for family, health, or work reasons. And the bigger the state’s population, the more that move.
Mexico is missing in the data. I’m in north Alabama. From where I stand, ALL of Mexico has moved to Alabama.
How bad is it in NY if the second highest state they moved to was NJ?
Please come to Reno from California if you are a conservative. Our county is almost 50/50. I can’t stand when the Rats win here. It is so beautiful here. Entertainment and great food. Not to mention the beautiful scenery. Did I mention no state taxes?
Dey’s too much migratin’ goin’ on out dere!
Nope
“Is this net migration”
Does it say net?
Those are just the five most populous states, so not really any big shockers to be had.
I would agree with you....year-by-year, you can spot various trends. In fact, going back 30, 50 and even 100 years ago...there were yearly trends going on....just no data to state it as a fact.
People are more mobile today...than any point in the past fifty years.
“People are more mobile today...than any point in the past fifty years.”

Illegals, who are not tracked by U-Haul, get free plane tickets.
The more socialist states increase in population because of the stead immigration of wetbacks. Their populations are inexorably being replaced with more reliable Democrat votes. The country is separating into too ideologically opposed. parts.
