Is it just in my area or are cranberries more pricey then usual?

I paid 99 cents for dried cranberries in a small net at Aldi’s 2 days ago - I had never cooked them before so I had to look it up - pretty simple - I’ve used half of them so far along with canned cranberry sauce to make a glaze for a small sliced Frick’s ham

Is 2 bags of Ocean Spray [paying some for the name] for $3 expensive? I thought not but I only get them once a year...
