A 65-year-old golfer died at a course in Florida after being attacked with his own clubs in what appears to be a "random act of violence," police say.
Junior Boucher, 36, is now facing a first-degree murder charge after the death of Brian Hiltebeitel at the Sandhill Crane Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens Monday afternoon.
"At this time, it does not appear that Boucher had any legitimate purpose for being at the golf course. This appears to be a random act of violence where Boucher used the victim's golf clubs as weapons and viciously attacked the victim, ultimately killing him," Palm Beach Gardens Police Chief Dominick Pape said at a news conference Tuesday.

A lot of my family plays or played golf. Hell my cousin actually manages a golf course in Rhode Island.
I’ve been brought out on the course a couple times, And probably played a total of about 27 holes in my life.
I couldn’t wait to get off the course and do something else.
I can’t believe how much money people will spend on it as well

Because the way the article was written made it sound like a random black on white violence which really isn’t all that random and it more of a so called hate crime.

I, and my two brothers grew up with only one 'solid parent' and it was enough. None of us have ever assaulted anyone or ever been sentenced to jail.

Fair point. But pepper spray can also temporarily blind someone. That’s what you’ve got to hope for in cases like this one.
And the phrase “spray then run away” would apply. A blinded maniac will still be coming at you. So just don’t stand there. Move.
The official police photo in the article makes him look much lighter than in the other photos. I wonder if they altered it.
