Ukraine will learn that Russia, like Hamas and Hezbollah in relation to Israel, cannot be trusted to keep any agreements and will, when it suits them, break the agreements to the point of restarting their agression.

'To persuade Russia to participate in the negotiations, the U.S. and other NATO partners would delay Ukraine's membership in the alliance for an extended period in exchange for a "comprehensive and verifiable deal with security guarantees."'If Russia refuses, why not cancel Ukraine's membership in NATO permanently? Russia would probably agree, and, in return, abandon all claims to Ukraine's land.

Just stop sending the Ukraine aid. That’ll put an end to our involvement, and will probably also lead to peace.

Russia should be our Christian, Western Civ. ally against china, islamic terrorism, etc. but instead the neoCONs made them into a perpetual boogeyman to keep our countries from uniting in the name of Western Civilization and Christianity.
The neoCONs are actually neoCOMMUNISTS and they do not want a restoration of Western Civilization in the USA or Europe or anywhere else.
There are many possible outcomes to negotiations...

....but I doubt Ukraine will be happy with the result....

To persuade Russia to participate in the negotiations, the U.S. and other NATO partners would delay Ukraine's membership in the alliance for an extended period in exchange for a "comprehensive and verifiable deal with security guarantees." Tell your Titania "McGrath" Vorozhko that's a non-starter.
Lavrov will wipe his bum with a missive like that.

This guy is nuts. None of that is going to happen. Ukraine never needs to be in NATO. And we dont need to keep arming them up. Putin isn’t giving back ground or not much of it. Not after losing all those troops and hardware.
Self sky could have settled this very quickly in the beginning but the EU pulled him off the negotiating table.

This is a good plan so long as sanctions are kept in place on Russia during the cease fire and negotiations.

Let’s do this: Russia stops buying weapons from Iran, China and North Korea. Russia gives all the land they have invaded back to Ukraine. Russia needs to pay for new infrastructure they destroyed and cut back their militaries to only 50,000 members.
Turn Putin over to the IC Court...and turn over all their nukes to India.

So will Richasrd Grenell get ANY position in this Administration? He is one of the very few who served Trump with 100% loyalty and alignment while Trump was under full Deep State attack, and has remained loyal the past 4 years.
I am concerned about Gen. Kellogg's prior position with Mike Pence.
