@MyLordBebo
đşđ¸ WTF: Tulsa city council invites a âpriestess of the goddessâ to say a âsatanic prayerâ dedicating the entire city to Satan on Nov 20th.
Theyâre going insane?
What could be more appropriate for the Left/Democrat Party/"progressives"/"liberals"--whatever the newspeak du jour!
What could be more fitting for the Party of slavery, infanticide, the ku klux klan, election fraud, lawfare, the destruction of the USA, and thermonuclear war?
No praying to Carville?
“an old white bitch”
We did a flag wave for Trump/Republican candidates in my small town in southern NH the Saturday prior to the election.
Almost every person that flipped us off was an old white woman. Never a guy. Typically not a young woman either.
Just the old harpies that are still pissed Hillary lost.
Why do you spell God ‘G-d’?
No offense, just curious. Kind of reminds me of when I was in the army. The 80s they would end the prayer: “...in Jesus name we pray. Amen.” Then roundabouts the 90s, they changed it to: “in his name we pray. Amen.” Just exactly who is him?
All I know about Tulsa is from the First 48 hours.
Those detectives were really good.
Don’t think those guys in blue voted blue.
The council member responsible has resigned. In the future they will most likely only have a moment of silence for the invocations.
Dang, she seems to believe that Medusa is a real creature.
This is the problem with secularism. With freedom of religion of course they have to give satanists a turn. And Baal worshipers and Santeria people and etc.
On what constitutional grounds could you refuse?
I enjoy having freedom of religion here but this illustrates why a confessional Christian state is my preference. Flame away. I realize it comes with its own set of problems like who decides what is Christian?
Which was actually a race riot that Blacks started.
A prayer to any entity that is not the one true God is a prayer to satan. Israel learned this after Solomon and they were destroyed for it. How many times must the lesson be learned?
Council consists of five women and four men.
Outside of the home, women tend towards this stuff.
Tulsa proper is as blue as blue can be. They are now milking the ‘21 riots again, this time wanting a national monument to be made of the mythical “black wallstreet”. They used to bill it as America’s Most Beautiful City. Now it is no more than Frisco on the Arkansas River. The same scourge of liberalism goes for NW Arkansas.
Likely there was a lawsuit. Government shall not establish a religion. Picking a favorite among religions is seen as promoting and thereby establishing that religion in fact if not in law. So the choice is either to leave out invocations at public meetings or make the opportunity to do available to all faiths. Perhaps it would be best to say the Pledge then call for a moment of silence.
â Just the old harpies that are still pissed Hillary lost.â
And everyone owns at least 2 cats.
Medusa was not a deity! My daughter who knows her Greek mythology like the back of her hand is now hyperventilating!
I was disappointed is wasn’t an actual Satanist or Luciferian... Misleading title is misleading...
Just some Greco-Roman Neo-pagan spouting a mish-mash of the usual tortured mythology and Gardnarian non-sense.
Isn’t that the same logic used by Muslim’s?
Something to ponder...
NO.
My point is not that the prayer is not Satanic but that the woman who offered these prayers did not mention or identify with Satan.
There are Satan worshippers and Satanists (which are distinct religious philosophies). And some people are “Satanic” by the biblical standard even if they think they are Christian.
Would you label someone offering a Mormon prayer “Satanic”? How about those who pray the rosary and use the despicable phrase “Mother of God”? (The early church fathers identified Mary as the God-bearer, and “Mother of God” is a mistranslation of this.)
Just saying that there is a difference between someone being labeled “Satanic” and someone who self-identifies as such. And responsible journalism that isn’t clickbait should make this distinction clear to the readers.
“Medusa was not a deity!”
To you. But to this woman, she is. That is, she treated Medusa-like a deity by praying to her.
Personally, I’m not willing to get involved in a theological debate within a religion I am not part of. There is already too much debate within my own (broadly described as Christendom).
1 Corinthians 8:5-6 NKJV
For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
1 Corinthians 10:20 NKJV
Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.
Whether the Greeks considered Medusa a god, demigod, or mortal those who idolize her are really interacting with demons who operate through the myth to spread false religion and destruction.
