Shifting your same daily calories to earlier in the day can help with glucose and A1C readings.

The “Take Charge Of Your Health” Ping List

This high volume ping list is for health articles and studies which describe something you or your doctor, when informed, may be able to immediately implement for your benefit.

Email me to get on either the “Common/Top Issues” (20 - 25% fewer pings) or “Everything” list.

Not me. I get up at 13:00 and go to bed at 04:00.

Maybe if you’re on a, “normal” day cycle. I’m practically nocturnal.

I've actually learned this in the past few months.

I've suffered from some stomach problems and no longer eat past 4pm. It has helped my glucose and stomach issues immensely...

I basically eat small meals every three hours and stop by 4pm!

I’m a grazer throughout the day - light dinner between 3:30 - 4;30

I’m thin and never have dinner before 7 p.m.
Healthy as they come.

The forgot to mention daylight savings time. And the changing of daylight following the time of year. Nope- It just 5PM plain and simple. That is how you know the study is BS.

Not to mention other variables like when a person gets up or goes to bed.

Doesn’t seem to bother the Italians, who eat dinner after 7:30PM.

The study included 26 participants between the ages of 50 and 70 who were overweight or obese, and had prediabetes or type 2 diabetes....

That would skew any test results. That’s 26 walking (if they even can walk) disasters.

Eating dinner after 5pm is common for the majority of people and also the largest meal of the day. There’s far to many discrepancies in this study to even consider it.

So the study’s participants ate the same food just at different times, but in the very next sentence they say eating later correlated with more carbohydrates and fat? Both these statements cannot be true.

Good think I limit myself to only 44.73% of my calories after 5. Also, that it’s pure bourbon.

Have your sweets earlier in the day.

I am laughing, because for some unknown reason, I don’t understand, awhile back i started having “deserts” as an afternoon snack and then did not have them after dinner.

This reminds me, I once read Lucille Ball said she stayed thin by doing just one thing - she never ate after 3pm each day. Had whatever she felt like during the day, but nothing after 3pm.
